Enzymes and Digestion

Starch protiens + fat  -> long chains too big to pass through digestive system

Amylase converts starch into simple sugars so it can go through the digestive system.

protese protines -> amino acids

lipase fats -> glycerol + fatty acids

- pancreas

- small intestine

salivary glands -> gullet
