Your nervous system enables you to changes in your surroundings and co-ordinating your behaviour

Glands make secrete hormones which are chemical substances which control processes going on in the body

changes are known as stimuli --- these are picked up by cells called receptors --- these are found in sense organs (e.g.skin, eyes,ears,nose and tongue)
