MONOMERS & POLYMERS

Condensation: Chemical reaction which involves removing a molecule of water. A starch is formed when a large number of molecules are joined via condensation.

Polymer: Is a large Molecule formed from many identical/ similar smaller molecules called Monomers. Monomers are joined together via condensation.

POLYSACCHARIDES

Examples: Starch, Glycogen, and cellulose
