Berkeley's Conception Argument

We cannot conceive of objects of perception unperceived.  i.e. it is not possible to abstract primary properties from secondary. Given that secondary properties are just ideas in the mind, so too are primary, as we have reason to believe they cannot exist apart.

Objecting to this claim:

Does not work against Locke's position. Colours are not ideas - they are powers in objects.

Counter: what about if I say I like aquamarine, prefer…
