Basic Circuits

Standard test circuit for finding resistance of a component. Measure current through and potential difference across component. 

Ammeter: measures current in amps flowing through component. Must be placed in series. Put anywhere in series in the main circuit, but never parallel like voltmeter.

Voltmeter: measures potential difference in volts across component. Must be placed in parallel around component under test…
