How does Light Affect plant Growth?
- Plants grow towards the light - Phototropism. Increases chance of survival.
How does mitosis make new body cells?
A cell grows. During its growth it makes copies of:
- Organelles (Specialised parts) including mitochondria
- Chromosomes - Copied when two strands of each DNA molecule seperate and new strands form alongside them.
