B3.2 - Humans and their animals

Humans are great apes (along with gorillas, orang-utans, chimpanzees, and bonobos) which all pass the mirror test of self-awareness. We are closely related to Bonobos. Our ancestors were hunter gatherers, nomadic, living in family groups, finding foods.

10,000 years ago we started farming, planting seeds, keeping domesticated animals. We permanently settle in villages, with more free time to develop culture like writing etc.
