Enzymes and Respiration.

Many chemical reactions are controlled by enzymes inside cells like the ones in respiration, protein synthesis and photosynthesis.

Enzymes Help Build Amino Acids and Proteins.

Enzymes are used to synthesise molecules like amino acids (the ones you don't get from your diet). They also catalyse protein synthesis by joining together amino acids. These proteins could be enzymes.

Respiration is NOT "Breathing In and Out" 

Respiration involves many reactions, all of which are catalysed by enzymes. These are important reactions as they provide cells the energy they need to work.
