Plant and Animal cells have similarities and differences.
Animal cells and Plant cells have 4 things in common:
Nucleus- contains DNA that controls what the cell does.
Cytoplasm- gel-like substance where most of the chemical reactions happen.
Cell membrane- controls what does in and out of the cell.
Mitochondria- these produce energy from respiration that is needed for the cell to work.
Plant cells have 3 more extra things:
Cell wall- made of cellulose and supports the cell.
Chloroplasts- contains chlorophyll which is needed for photosynthesis.
Vacuole- contains cell sap, a mixture of weak sugars and salts.
Bacterial cells are different…
