B2 - Asexual Reproduction

HideShow resource information

Some organisms reproduce asexually.

This means that they do not mate.

They make their offspring by creating a copy of themselves.

Since as there is no interbreeding, asexual reproductors do not fit the definition of a species.

An example of an asexual organism is bacteria.
