Weight problems
>Obesity
If you take in more energy than you use, the excess is stored as fat
You need some body fat to cushion your internal organs and as an energy store but if someone eats a lot more food than they need, this is a form of malnourishment
Malnourished - Not having enough or too much of one or more of the food groups
Over time they could become overweight and obese
Carrying too much weight is often inconvenient and uncomfortable
Obesity can lead to:
-Arthritis
-Type 2 diabetes
-High blood pressure
-Heart disease
Obese people are also more likely to die at a younger age…
