Mood and Eating Behaviours -

A01 - Binge-eating - Wegner et al (2002) students recorded their eating patterns and mood states over a peroid of time (two weeks). Binge days were charcterised by low mood compared to non binge days, no difference in mood before and and after a binge. suggests that although low mood may make binge eating more likely, it doesnt alleviate the low mood state.

Comfort Eating - Garg et al (2007) observed the food choices of 38 participants as they watched either a funny film or a sad film - offered buttered
