Natural Hazards

• Natural Hazards are a threat to people or property

• Is a hazard if there is death, injury, disruption and damage. 
• Natural Disasters - a natural hazard that has acctually happened
• A hazard may occur that has no threat to humans , this is seen as a hazard and not a disaster. 
• Two main types of hazard - Geological and Meteorological
