'I give you an onion' First perion pronoun - relationship Direct address 'you' extendend metophor established.

'It will  blind you with tears ' Hyperbole. Verb 'blind' - sencde danger. Love is also the risk of being heart  broken . Sence of danger . Imperative/monosyllabic words .

'its platinium loops'foceful Loops implies to an onion - verb 'strink' implies being trapped. Claustrophobic  relationship.

'its sent will cling to your fingers // cling to your knife ' -violent imagery- repition of ' cling'.memories both good and bad will remain.
