CFC's (chlorofluorocarbons) cause ozone depletion. These can be found in aerosols, fridges and polystyrene foam.

Effect of ozone depletion:

• Means more harmful UV light can reach the Earth's surface.
• An increased chance of skin cancer.
• Plankton will die. This is a major problem as they are at the bottom of the food chain.
