Ageing Population

Ageing Populations- are when the older dependants are more in a country than young dependants.

Many MEDC's are increasing in older dependants rather than younger working dependants. This means that the little working population have to pay more taxes and work longer and receive smaller pensions so that the money they earn a large proportion is given to the old dependants. The money taken is given to the old dependants for their healthcare and medical, old peoples homes and houses and for their transports ect. 

Many countries in Europe have a ageing populations this makes the working dependants work harder and they have to pay extra. The cost of living starts to increase.
