Koriat et al

Koriat believed that children are unreliable when it comes to EWT as they have an undeveloped schema.

Poole and Lindsey (2001)

They got children of varying ages (3-8years) to watch a science demo, and then they listened to a story which contained some of the science material but also some new information. They were questioned about the science demo and it was found that they threw in some of the story as well. They were then asked to consider where they had got this information from (the demo or story). The older children successfully acknowledged where they got this information from, but for the younger children they were less able to distinguish the source.
