Adaptations to Cold Environments
Adaptions take place so that the organism can survive better in its environment
Most adaptions involve reducing heat loos to the cold environment
Anatomical Adaptations:
- Having a thick layer of fur or blubber insulates the body
- Having a large size and compact body shape - small surface area to volume ratio
