Desert animals have adapted to save water...
- Large surface area:volume - able to lose more heat
- Produce small amounts of concentrated urine - less water lost
- Make hardly any sweat
- Very thin layers of fat underneath their skin, camels keep most in their hump
- Large feet to spread their weight across the sand - easier to walk
- Sandy colour - for camouflage
