What are the four main types of active galaxies?

• Radio galaxies- these are mainly elliptical galaxies that are such intense sources of radio waves they emit more than a million times more energy at radio wavelenghts than normal galaxies. The radio emmisions often originate from symetrical pairs of lobes that lie on opposite sides of the galaxy.
