Types of Errors

These are the errors that can occur during the double-entry process. Some are recognisable more easily however some are trickier to find. They won't show up on a trial balance.

1 ) Error of Omission

Missing (omitting) an entry from the double entry system completely. Since it is not there at all, the balance would remain however would be lower.
