'My heart' - anaphora, appeals to aural senses which makes it more memorable. Also is a regular rhythm so has connotations of a heat beat sound

'like' - similes throughout the stanza as though she cannot put her feelings into words

'singing bird' - rejoicinng

'apple-tree'- Garden of Eden image. Indicates respect and is enticing  

'Thickset fruit' - idea of flourishing and beginnings
