A Priori Arguments
- A priori ONTOLOGICAL arguments for the existence of God can be appealing and persuasive, if the reasoning is sound then they can lead us to the certain truth.
- Mathematics uses a priori reasoning and arrive at certain conclusions.
- More persuasive, however this reasoning is not appealing to everyone
- People might want to make more logical steps before commiting themselves to a God who exists through reasoning and (in the ontological argument) through deffinition.
A Posteriori Arguements
