Data logging is used in schools for science experiments. Sensors automatcally collect data readings over a set period of time called a logging period. The time between each reading is called the logging interval. Data from sensors is sent to the computer by wires.The computer then allows an analysis of the data collected by performing calculations and creating charts. Data logging is more accurate because people cant make mistakes like forget to take readings: readings can be taken automatically at anytime.
