As germline cells are diploid, they can either divide by mitosis to form more germline cells and/or divide by meiosis to form haploid gametes.
The male reproductive organs are the testes. The testes are the site of sperm production. The seminiferous tubules in the testes produce sperm. The interstitial cells are found between the seminiferous tubules and they produce the hormone testosterone. Testosterone stimulates sperm cell production.
The seminal vesicles and prostate gland are activated by testosterone to secrete fluids.
