Strikes
- Protests by workers, peasants and members of the armed forces
- Lack of co-ordination led to failure of revolution ultimately
- However, did cause big problems for the government
- The wave of stikes by workers developed into a general strike
- Strikers set up soviets to direct the strikes
- Most successful general strike in Russian history
- Whole country was paralised
- Railway workers went on strike in October, seriously threatening the government (railways crucial)
