Homeostasis

This is the maintenance of a constant internal environment in order to keep the body in equilibrium.

Tissue fluid bathes cells, providing them with nutrients and taking away waste products.

PH- This needs to be monitored, as if the PH changes, certain enzymes can be inhibited.

Temp: A change in temperature can change tertiary structure of an enzyme, denaturing it. Substrates wouldn't be able to fit in to the active site of the enzyme, to form enzyme substrate complexes.

Water potential: Changes in water potential can cause cells to shrink or expand and burst
