Writer Techniques

Sentence Structures:

• Minor = 1 word sentence
• Simple = a sentence consisting of one clause and subject.
• Compound = For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So
• Complex = more than one clause or includes a comma

Sentence Functions:

• Declarative sentence = to declare something
• Exclamative sentence = used to emphasise a point
• Interrogative sentence = used to form a question
• Imperative sentence = used to issue a commands
