work

(http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lDeXmYndnpA/TeUdSFkYuBI/AAAAAAAAA4I/vzeZGyC-3Kw/s1600/musicians-work-hard.png)

WORK DONE FORCE X DISTANCE

A 5 NEWTON FORCE ALONG 10 m  = 50J

if the work is done on a slope IT IS STILL THE SAME!!

A FORCE A 90degrees TO THE DIRECTION OF MOTION DOES NO WORK!

WORK DONE AT AN ANGLE IS = FORCE X COSq  X DISTANCE

DONT FORGET ITS MEASURED IN JOULES=

power

(http://www.clker.com/cliparts/4/4/1/a/1195429270821624493molumen_multicolor_power_buttons_4.svg.med.png)

power is the RATE OF WORK

(http://www.komplexify.com/math/images/salarytheorem/PowerIsWorkOverTime.gif)

Also...

POWER = FORCE X VELOCITY
