White Blood Cells

White blood cells form part of the body's immune system.

They help fight infection by:

* Ingesting pathogens

* Producing antitoxins to neurtalise toxins produced by some pathogens

* Producing antibodies to destroy particular pathogens. Leading to immunty from that pathogen.
