the success of war communism was limatied because even though the Red Army won the civil War against the Whites. it was at a terrable coast, 7 million dies of famin due to food beeing requencisionrd from the pesants to feed the Red Army. Lenin Nationlised the factories  so he had controll over what was beeing produced, this allowed Lenin to make weepons for the War. so there was nothing to be sold. this caused the econmey to full. inflation was a result of this. Which lead to barterring. Lenin's greatist supporters the sailors, turned against him during the Kronstat Mutiny. This was because they didn't agree with his policey. Lenin sent 60,000 soliders to quer  the 20,000 saliors.
