Urban Environment - Can Cities Be Sustainable?

For a city to be sustainable, it would have to;

• generate its own power from renewable sources
• recyce as much waste as possible
• re-use as much waste as possible
• collect and manage its own water supply
• have a fully integrated transport system
• provide good quality housing
• preserve environment
• manage environment
• develop green space
• consider all residents' needs
