  • Follow certian rules to show they are dedicated 
  • 12 hours a day worshiping God 
  • Living a life away from the world so they can focus on God

The missionaries of charity:

  • Vows of chastitiy, poverty, obediance and to giv to the poor 
  • 10 - 12 hours a day nuns and monks work in centres run by the order.
  • Some run centres for the abandoned and dying - for all races and religions 
  • Run lebrosy centres in LEDCs
  • Run hostels in places such as Edinburgh and London 
  • Run orphanages, AID's hospices and care for refugees
