Reversible

Neutralisation

Precipitation= gives products which are insoluble. called a precipitate. eg. silver nitrate soluble + sodium chloride soluble makes silver chloride insoluble + sodium nitrate soluble.

displacement

exothermic. eg. manesium + hydrochloric acid.

thermal decoposition. is exothermic. is a substance split to form simpler substances. eg. calcium carbonate heated makes calcium oxide + carbon dioxide.

combustion. a hydrocarbon. always makes carbon dioxide and water.
