Typhoid-
Antibiotics such as pencillin are effective against the bacteria. Though, these are not often acvaliable to the poor poeple most likely to suffer from the disease. Oral rehudration therapy is also very effective in counteracting the effect og the dehydration caused by the diarrhoea.
Tubercuolisis -
It is very diffucult to treat TB, involving long-term use of multiple anitbiotics. It can take up to 18 months to kill all the bacteria. Moreover resistance resistance of the bacteria to anitbiotics becomes a major problem. treatment is also expensive, not an option for most people with the disease.
Gonorrhoea-
It is possible to cure gonorrhoea using antibiotics. Often a person with gonorrhoea with be infected with other bacterial STDs so combinations of antibiotics are usually prescibed.
