  • Arterys= carry blood away from heart, oxygenated (red), small lumen
  • Veins= carry blood too heart, low in oxygen (purple), large lumen, valves to prevent back flow.
  • Capilleries= deliver O2 and glucose to cells by diffusion, all over and very small,
