  • National parks are usually areas of sceneic countryside
  • Some examples of National parks are the Lake and Peak district
  • they are protected from development that may harm the environment as this is what attracts tourists to the area
  • they have activities that are usually outdoor including birdwatching, walking, canoeing, mountain biking and fishing in the local rivers and lakes
