Supports

• Transverse cervical ligaments fan out from the sides of the cervix to the side walls of the pelvis. 

• Uterosacral ligaments passes backwards from cervix to the sacrum. 

• Pubocervical passes forwards from the cervix, under the bladder to the pubic bones. 

• Broad ligaments are formed from folds of peritoneum which are draped over the fallopian tubes.    Hang down like a curtain.
