  • Therapeutic work for over 7s
  • Recommended that half lesson is spent on general activity exercises

  • Athletics, gymnastics, games skills & group work
  • Development of mind and body
  • Teacher acts as guide 
  • Special clothing worn
  • Many schools had newly built facilities
