  • Advances the limb and extends the shoulder

  • Originates at the back of the skull
  • Inserts on the Acromion and distal spine of the Scapula
  • Advances the limb

Serratus Ventralis

  • Originates at the CERVICAL VERTEBRAE and RIBS
  • Inserts upon the Scapula
  • Caudal section of the muscle advances the limb by a pulling down motion
  • Supports the trunk
