German Territorial Losses

  • Colonies - All of them
  • Alsace-Lorraine was reterned to France
  • The Saar was given to France to mine in for 15 years
  • The Rhineland was demilitarised
  • 'Polish corridor' given to Poland
  • Anscluss (union of Germany and Austria) was forbidden

Reparations - £6,600 million

Armed Forces

  • 100,000 Men (no conscription)
  • 6 battleships
  • No submarines or airforce 

War Guilt Clause - Clause 231 stated Germany must accept full responsibilty for the war.

League of Nations - Germany was not allowed to join
