What was the disagreement between America and Russ

American position:

America did not want to repeat the mistakes of the Treaty of Versailles (TOV).

This is because they wanted to give Germany the chance to rebuild their country as everything was left in ruins after WW1.


Russian position:

POWER:
Russia wanted to crumple Germany even more, even though the entire country was in ruins after WW1.

This is because they wanted to make Germany understand that if they did anything to Russia, Germany would be crimped even more.

PROTECTION:
Also they wanted to protect their country from future threats.
