One of the greatest causes of air pollution is the burning of fossil fuels such as coal and gases
A lot of water pollution comes from human activity. Some human causes include sewage, waste water and chemicals from factories and rubbish from people littering.
Soil pollution is caused by dumping harmful materials into the soil such as:
Trash, including plastic bags and bottles
Debris like cement and bricks
Metal from old cars or building materials
Light pollution is caused by using too much artificial lighting for a long period of time

we can reduce rubbish by making a compost heap and sorting into materials to be recycled
we can use less water by having showers rather than baths and turning off the taps when not in use
We can use less power by not switching on lights during the day, switch off the computer, tv or radio if you are not using it and using bulbs that use less watts
We can make our pets eco friendly by picking up their buisness in eco friendly poo bags and placing it in a special bin and keeping cats indoors at night so they do not eat other animals
