probability is the outcome of something
e.g. what's the probability that it will rain tomorrow
some answears could be......
possible, unlikely, likely, impossible, certain or a 50:50 chance.
e.g. what is the probability that you pick a red counter out of a bag of three red counters and six blue counters.
the possible answers are.....
possible, unlikely,
or you could use fractions to show your probability
e.g. 3/9 because there is 3 red counters and altogether there are 9 counters so you can say the outcome/probability could be 3/9.
