Soviet Expansionism

1) Coalition governments formed.

2) With the support of the USSR the communist party of the particluar country infiltrated the civil service and took power of media, security and defense.

3) The communists set about discrediting other parties.

4) Opposing politions were arrested or forced to resign and leave the country.

5) When elections held they were rigged, to ensure it would be a communist victory.

6) Then people's democracies were set up, in reality dictatorships controlled from Moscow and the Soviets.
