Planning a research project
Research ethics focus on conducting research that is morally acceptable.
Informed consent: Before taking part in a study, participants should be told exactly what the study is, what they'll have to do and why its being done, so that they can give their permission to be studied. This way they can opt to not give consent and withdraw from the investigation
Anonymity: Participants should not be named in books/papers/articles about the research (unless consent is given)
Confidentiality: Personal information about the participants should remain private.
