Children observed an adult behaving very agressively towards a bobo doll.
The children then got the chance to play with the bobo doll.
They behaved very agressively towards the bobo doll, just like the adult.
This suggests that the younger children modelled the adult and imitated their behaviour.
Furthermore different versions of the experiment also shows that when a women is obseved by female children whilst hitting the bobo doll then agression will increase.
This suggests that children identify more with their own gender.
