Dance Style - Ballet, Mime

Dancers - 5 women, 4 men

Action - head bows and slow walks, exaggerated arm gestures into ballet arm positions, balances, drops to the floor, turns

Space - whole stage 

Dynamics - large swinging arm gestures 

Relationships - partner work, leans, duets between men and women

Aural Setting - string quartet, intense powerful music, moves flow with music, repetition, layers to music, violin, high pitched and pauses in the music. 

Lighting - general wash 

Set Design - plain backdrop and setting 

Costume - simple shades of grey and black women in long sleeve floor length flowy dresses men in tights and long sleeve top (traditional ballet)

Choreographic Devices - repetition, tempo, quality

Theme - Lonely person in a big city 

Dancers - 3 male 3 female 

Action - Contractions (Martha Graham technique), torso tilts (Cunningham technique), they run forwards drop there upper body then run to the back and do the same then they do a massive step turn leap turn and roll to the floor. movements communicate emotion 

Space - whole stage 

Dynamics - sharp movements to suit the music 

Relationships - partner dancing with women and men, lifts, manipulation, the women lay sideways on the men back hanging on and the men walk like they're carrying something heavy 

Aural Setting - popular song 'i don't want you on my mind' by Bill Withers

Lighting - dull lighting, neon lights as signs

Set Design - elaborate set, creates urban city scene with a grill and fire escapes, very busy set

Costume - all in different things, brightly coloured, everyday clothing, popular of time, women wore bright green lycra bottom with a bright yellow t-shirt.
