Storm Hydrograph

A graph which shows annual discharge in a river yearly, month by month, things to look for,

rising limb= discharge increasing

receding limb= a fall in discharge

Lag time = delay between max rainfull + peak dicharge

Long profile

long profile shows changes in altitude(ground surface) i.e waterfalls rapids lakes

Cross Profile

the width of the river, picture a v shape

Rejuvination

The change in river valleys shape or gradient

knick points- break in the smooth gradient

river terraces- steps in cross profile

incised meanders- meanders shape the rock
