Theme - a rework of on 1985 'cutter' dance. the rhythm and qualities of Gowans score

Dance Style - Cunningham technique, classical ballet footwork, contemporary, social dance

Dancers - 6 male and 6 female

Action - slow walks, holding positions, pase, contractions 

Space - whole stage mainly centre

Dynamics - slow and controlled movements, moments of pause as positions held

Relationship - action and reaction, lean, counterbalances, women usually on the floor 

Aural Setting - 24 track tape, focused on different sounds blended together

Lighting - changes of colour and intensity in each section 

Set Design - plain 

Costume - the women wear cropped jackets, knee-length pleated skirts and leotards, the men wear black suits with jazz shoes

Action - toe-tapping, ball shapes on the floor, balances on knees, folding over from sitting to lying down
